Brightbill Extended Family

Salineville, Ohio


I took the prettiest winding country roads out to Salineville, Ohio to photograph the Brightbill family on their beautiful property. The fall colors were absolutely stunning, with golden leaves, soft light, and that cozy autumn feeling everywhere you looked. Even though a misty rain hung in the air the entire time, it didn’t take away from the beauty of the day. We still captured the sweetest moments and some truly gorgeous photos.

Alexis’s grandparents, parents, and brother joined her, her husband, and their two little ones for this extended family session. When I photograph larger families like this, I always start with one big group photo and then move into smaller groupings so each part of the family gets their own moment to shine. Each relationship has its own dynamic and connection, and it’s so fun to see how it all comes together. From grandparents hugging their grandkids to parents laughing with their grown children, every moment felt full of warmth and love.

Some of my favorite shots from this session came from letting the kids just be themselves. They ran, played, explored the yard, and that’s where the magic happened. Those genuine smiles and curious moments are what make the photos so special. And yes, we even got the chickens in a few photos, which made it all the more personal.

Rain or shine, this session was full of laughter, love, fall beauty, and just the right amount of country charm.
